PaulaWe we’re lucky enough to witness natures different faces, as a furious thunderstorm hit us, followed by beautiful sunshine. The tiny house provided a cozy home for the night. Definitely enjoyed the experience & keen on doing it again!
We went back again to Val Saisera, a hidden gem within the municipality of Malborghetto-Valbruna, which never ceases to fascinate us.
This valley, nestled among the mountains, is where our room opens up to a world of natural wonders, immersed in an ancient forest of red spruces.
These majestic trees, guardians of ancient stories, are famous for their precious wood, used in the craft of luthiery to create musical instruments that enchant the world.
From the window of our room, we offer an unparalleled view of breathtaking landscapes, where the intense green of nature merges with the blue sky in a living painting of rare beauty.
The sounds of this ancient forest, from the rustling of the wind among the spruces to the singing of birds hidden in the foliage, compose a natural symphony that will accompany every moment of your stay.
Val Saisera is a paradise for hiking enthusiasts: from trails immersed in the quiet of the forest, to the evocative Forest Sound Track, to the Great War Theme Park, telling stories of times past. Not to forget the numerous refuges, ready to welcome you with warmth and tradition.
Choosing Friland for your break means choosing an unforgettable experience, in a place where the majesty of nature invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with yourself.
Here, in this peaceful valley, you will find the ideal place to detach from routine, surrounded by the grandeur of the mountains, the magic of an ancient forest, and the tranquility of a starry sky that only Val Saisera can offer.

Friland accommodations are designed to have minimal environmental impact while ensuring a comfortable experience.
Each structure is offgrid, meaning it does not require a connection to the water and sewage network. Electricity is primarily generated by solar panels, while the water system is based on internal tanks. The interiors are finished with wood and recycled materials for thermal insulation and can be used in any season.
To promote a conscious and frugal use of resources, we have installed Quantum in our accommodations, a small monitor that provides real-time information on water and electricity consumption since the beginning of the stay.
We want to make our guests aware of their consumption and help them, if they wish, to make more sustainable choices.
