What does it mean to stay in nature? What kind of encounters or situations might I come across?
Choosing Friland means unplugging and integrating into a living, authentic ecosystem. Nature is, by definition, spontaneous and unspoiled, and that is precisely what makes it magical. During your stay, you might experience real mountain and country life up close. This may include encountering grazing cows, passing flocks of sheep with their shepherds, or hikers and scouts who share a love for these trails. At times, you might hear or see the Forestry Service or local workers tending to the woods and mowing the grass: their work is invaluable for keeping these places safe and beautiful. We invite you to enjoy these moments with respect and curiosity, remembering that we are guests in a living environment.
The beauty of nature also lies in its constant evolution. Weather events (such as sunshine, a rainbow, or rain) are an integral part of the natural environment and the experience you will have. Consequently, the trails or dirt access roads may sometimes feature uneven surfaces, branches, leaves, or mud. We always recommend bringing suitable footwear so you can move around comfortably and enjoy all the wonders that nature has to offer.
How far is the accommodation from the parking lot?
The distance from the parking lot to the accommodation varies depending on the location, but on average it is about 200 m. Inside each destination page, you will find the exact distance from the parking lot.

Can you light fires outside?

Is there Wifi?
No, our accommodations do not have Wifi. The idea is that of reconnection and sharing. Don't let yourself be distracted by the outside world. Live a unique experience in the silence of your thoughts.
Is there a phone signal?
The phone coverage depends on the destinations: in some, located in more isolated places, the signal, as well as the internet, may not work very well. In others, the signal does not cause problems.
