CharlotteLiving a friland experience is something extraordinary; the accommodation is perfectly integrated into nature, and you feel part of it! Thank you for offering this opportunity!
Our room is located very close to the center of Sappada, yet it offers great privacy with a breathtaking view of the Venetian Dolomites. Sappada is a well-equipped tourist destination, with all necessary services within easy reach. Our accommodation is in Cima Sappada, just a 3-minute drive from the center. This place is nestled in a unique natural setting, surrounded by woods and mountains, with a farmhouse about a hundred meters behind us. We are located along the Piave River, which originates just a few kilometers away, offering the opportunity to see the river's source and a small waterfall nearby. From our window, you can admire the Monte Siera complex, offering a unique panorama of the Dolomites. The area is a true paradise for hikers and those looking for typical services and cuisine. Being located halfway up a pass, it is strategic for visiting both Cadore and Val Pusteria, both of which are not far away. A few meters from the room is the ancient Kratter sawmill. In winter, Sappada offers a ski area, Sappada Ski, suitable for all types of skiers, including cross-country skiing. During the summer season, Sappada is ideal for numerous walks and mountain bike trails, with equipment rental available. Among the attractions are the thematic trail "The Spirit of the Forest" and the "Village of Gnomes" for the little ones. Sappada is a municipality that has embraced the sustainable development of the community, ensuring a tourist experience in harmony with the environment. Come discover the beauty and tranquility of this corner of paradise, where nature meets comfort and adventure.

Friland accommodations are designed to have minimal environmental impact while ensuring a comfortable experience.
Each structure is offgrid, meaning it does not require a connection to the water and sewage network. Electricity is primarily generated by solar panels, while the water system is based on internal tanks. The interiors are finished with wood and recycled materials for thermal insulation and can be used in any season.
To promote a conscious and frugal use of resources, we have installed Quantum in our accommodations, a small monitor that provides real-time information on water and electricity consumption since the beginning of the stay.
We want to make our guests aware of their consumption and help them, if they wish, to make more sustainable choices.
