EmmaStunning views, cozy cabin – the perfect place to unwind. Will be back for sure.
At the extreme limit of the But Valley, where the Italian land meets Austria, there is a welcoming Friland room where you can experience authentic contact with nature. This location seems nestled in the heart of the Carnic Alps, at the foot of the majestic Mount Zoncolan, and offers perfect harmony between uncontaminated landscapes and the charm of ancient history.
The hamlet of Cima Moscardo, where the room is located, is a place where people still live in harmony with the mountains and breathe pure air. Here, life flows with simplicity, marked by the colors that change with the changing seasons and by the silence of the woods that envelops everything.
During autumn and winter, the evenings light up with magic, thanks to the brightness of the stars. In summer and spring, nature invites you to explore: excursions lead to places of rare beauty, with their uncontaminated alpine landscapes and the tranquility that only these mountains can offer.
In addition to offering a true immersion in nature, Paluzza preserves a heartfelt historical memory and ancient stories are still told in the mountains. Passing through here means immersing yourself in a world where time expands and every detail of nature invites you to rediscover serenity.
In case of bad weather or snow you will need to wear boots to reach the room via a 400 meter walk.
In case of good weather it is also possible to reach the room by car.

Friland accommodations are designed to have minimal environmental impact while ensuring a comfortable experience.
Each structure is offgrid, meaning it does not require a connection to the water and sewage network. Electricity is primarily generated by solar panels, while the water system is based on internal tanks. The interiors are finished with wood and recycled materials for thermal insulation and can be used in any season.
To promote a conscious and frugal use of resources, we have installed Quantum in our accommodations, a small monitor that provides real-time information on water and electricity consumption since the beginning of the stay.
We want to make our guests aware of their consumption and help them, if they wish, to make more sustainable choices.
