Our room is located in Sappada, in Udine province. Discover how to get there, clicking here

The Malva Room is a peaceful retreat nestled in a bucolic and relaxing landscape, hidden in the greenery beside a wide meadow where horses graze.
Majestic Dolomites frame the horizon. Here, the scent of resin and wood fills every moment of the day, while in spring, the air is enriched with the aromas of wildflowers and alpine herbs.
The area is home to chamois, marmots, and roe deer—and with a bit of luck, you might spot deer peeking through the forest.
Overhead, your gaze may catch the graceful flight of golden eagles or the silent beat of owls’ wings.
While walking in the area, you're accompanied by the sound of the Piave River, which rises just a short distance away.

Our impact

Friland accommodations are designed to have minimal environmental impact while ensuring a comfortable experience.
Each structure is offgrid, meaning it does not require a connection to the water and sewage network. Electricity is primarily generated by solar panels, while the water system is based on internal tanks. The interiors are finished with wood and recycled materials for thermal insulation and can be used in any season.

To promote a conscious and frugal use of resources, we have installed Quantum in our accommodations, a small monitor that provides real-time information on water and electricity consumption since the beginning of the stay.
We want to make our guests aware of their consumption and help them, if they wish, to make more sustainable choices.
